    I’m a licensed massage therapist of 20+ years and can manually manipulate the psoas/ iliopsoas region with my elbows as well as the insertion point on the lesser trochanter of the femur. (It is possible!) I do explain to my clients with a skeleton prior to their treatment a visual of the origin / insertion point & explain its function. I also explain that with this particular move it is purely therapeutic and can be slightly uncomfortable at times. I palpate very carefully & intuitively but have the ability to tell immediately if my clients have a tight psoas and release it gently. The pso rite can be a great tool, however it can be pretty invasive if their body is not warm or used to that kind of deep work. (Just be careful & go slow!) 😊

    Hey by accident, no such thing as that I found you on a search for tight hips and makes sense starting today will incorporate hip thrusters to build up glutes then eventually squats? Good or bad idea? Have not trained for 34 years although in decent shape considering . Love your videos. Will be back with progress. How many reps and ayes before increasing difficulty? It’s bill here.

    The higher hip has the longer leg. Its counterintuitive because the femur ball socket is freed up and hangs more while the lower hip pulls in the femur ball socket inwards and hence shorter.

    use gloves, sure, but dig up the root also and then that needs a wash so bend the leaves into the warm water as well (or cold water works!) and this de-activates the sting, they can be eaten raw or cooked - the entire plant, or dried yum yum and great medication

      I got it after a month. Now I can do 40 seconds of 3 sets of this exercise. In the beginning, follow exactly as he's showing you but put your knees on the ground. This variation is for beginners until you can lift up knees. Maybe aftet 10 days of practising. GL
